This “extension” was made by the Museum professionals, Vojislava and Barbara. Housed in four former Ashkenazi synagogues dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, its permanent exhibition reflects the versatility of Judaism in the past and present. Items from the Oyneg Shabes Archive buried beneath the Warsaw Ghetto include a class schedule in Hebrew and a report on the spread of typhus.
