The people are very welcoming and Lone Star Cowboy Church in Montgomery is the best church to attend, hands down, especially if you are a rodeo fanatic! The county is located east of Amarillo, Texas which includes convenience to excellent health care, shopping and nightlife. Taxes are cheaper here than other counties. I have been involved and feel welcomed in the community.
The high schools are big and well funded as well as the elementary and middle schools.I love the home-like feeling in Collin County. It is a beautiful place but the physical aspects of it don't correlate with the mental family friendly feeling.Carson County was very good schools, with excellent educators.
