The event is a partnership between Lost Souls of Saturn, The Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit and MeanRed Productions, and takes place on Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 6:00PM EST. Detroit is on the frontier of exploring connections between the science, technology, and the arts. Conversations—in the form of symposia, debate, and small talk—rippled through Detroit, inspired by billboards, paintings, and performances. What else do you call rejecting democracy, scapegoating immigrants, and being consumed by grievance? This past week was Detroit Art Week (DAW) and myriad events and activities showcased the variety of creative practices around the city.

The MOCAD reopened on Thursday with a trio of exhibitions including the first solo museum show for Detroit-based visual artist Conrad Egyir.
