In fact I only once saw it as a footy ground before it became rectangularised, when dad took us to look around in the early 1990’s. The Southern wing had water over the oval and inside the boundary by about 10 metres.

Betta Teams: SANFL Round 13 - South Adelaide vs Norwood The VFL football club South Melbourne were relocated to Sydney to become the Sydney Swans, and becoming the first team located outside of the traditional home of AFL Victoria. 1933 would be the clubs last Premiership for 72 years when in today’s AFL, the Sydney Swans won premierships in 2005 and 2012.
