Austell, GA We have been golfing here for years (on weekends) and have always enjoyed the course itself since it's great for me and great for his short game! Add a tournament Most holes are short, but the greens are heavily sloped and very fast. Only improvement needed is the cart paths which are very rough and bumpy.
If you are planning a trip to Pinehurst to play the more well known courses make sure you play the Legacy! The golf course designed by nationally accredited golf architect Garret Gill opened for play in 1998. Brad P. Pin placement can make for some very challenging shots.
Bobby Jones Links manages this facility, with Josh Deal as the General Manager. A few par 4's let's you pull out the longer clubs. Fairways were in great shape but at a $90 rate, greens were average at best.

It is one of the reasons we make four golf trips to this area each year to play the Legacy. Legacy Golf Course - Aberdeen, North Carolina Highly recommend including this course in your golf package. Talamore's greens are in pretty good shape. Just played Legacy on Sept. 7, 2012. The greens are great, also I'm very impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff is.

They schedule way too many tee times at the same time. Fairways and tee boxes are in great shape. Designed by Larry Nelson, the Legacy golf course opened in 1993. I've played almost every weekend - it's a fun course and not too intimidating for a beginner like me.
