The being, known as Radu Molasar, proceeds to kill several more soldiers in the following days and begins to take corporeal form. Warning: Illegal Pirated Copy. Regarding the transfer only - it's awful. When the German Army occupies the castle to control the Dinu Mountain Pass, Molasar is unwittingly unleashed from deep within the innermost recesses of the citadel by a pair of treasure-seeking soldiers who pry precious metal icons from the keep's inner walls. Horrible video qualityDisappointing Un Viewable Low Quality Junk. The demonic and, at this point, cloudlike Molasar saves the professor's daughter, Eva Cuza, from a sexual assault by two Einsatzkommandos and then enlists the aid of her grateful father to escape from the Keep. Watched the first 10 minutes and had to put it off , I have been waiting years to get a copy on DVD of the Keep a great film , spoiled by a unwatchable copy of the film , couldn't believe you could get away with that , it was like a copy of a copy of a copy back in the vhs days , would not recommend . This version was a rather poor transfer from the original master, and with SFX that would look more at home in 'The Sword and the Sorcorer', it's a bit messy at times. The theatrical cut ends on a downer, with Glaeken being sucked into the keep after destroying Molesar, while Eva cries in despair. Amazon should not sell this DVD, it is an insult to Prime Members. It's in 4:3 picture format and has distortion at the lower edge of the screen. The picture is fuzzy there is a line on the bottom of the video as the old VHS tapes like to do when they got old and the sound is very bad.
I hope someone can produce a good DVD of this film as it deserves to be presented in a clear and view able format. I have been waiting for a DVD of this film for a long time, unfortunately this DVD turned out to be a huge disappointment. Uncut definition is - not cut down or cut into. AVOID. Nazi soldiers have been sent to garrison a mysterious fortress, but a nightmarish discovery is soon made. This is an illegal copy. I Would be one of the first in line to buy an uncut version. I would gladly pay $20.00 for a decent DVD presentation. When the icons come free, 'something' changes and the viewer gets a sense of foreboding. I am not going to comment so much on the film itself so much as it's treatment on DVD. I found myself turning it up and turning it down just to understand what they were saying and sometimes even that didn't work.
In the ensuing days, Molasar emerges briefly and consumes the treasure seekers' life energy.
