I've read a variety of Jane Austen sequels/spin-offs and this is by far the best I've found. I was sad that the James Fitzwilliam storyline dropped off the radar; I liked what the author did with him to begin with. Anyway I won't continue to ramble on. The dining table seats 14 comfortably, with additional seating for 6 at the breakfast bar and 4 at a high top table.

I give the author a lot of credit for following this storyline and as I said, if if had been any other character I would definitely have enjoyed it more. The characters have depth, including very real flaws, though at times Jane's excessive goodness seems to be pandemic.
