Although I have to admit, it wasn't Lurlene McDaniel at her best.

Each book has a different twist to the theme, but generally speaking the overarching theme would be: challenges teens face have the ability to restore the true meaning of Christmas: love, hope, family, and selflessness.Burned Out? It is completely and totally official. She has the teen tragic love stories without the quips and comic relief.

Macomber’s novels have spent over 1,000 weeks on the New York TimeThis book did the trick for me and got me into the Christmas "mood" just that little bit more that I needed! In the story, she also meet a friend named Ellie who is also struggling in life as herself.Three holiday stories end with the theme of "a starry starry night" in this McDaniels tear-jerker. We’d love your help. Starry Night is the 76th stand-alone novel by popular American author, Debbie Macomber. But really it's -25 star book. One of the most popular poets of mid-20th century America, Sexton’s impressive body of work continues to be widely read and debated by literary scholars and cultural critics alike.

The first story told was about what happened to fifteen year old Melanie and how her baby sister was alive for only a few days. Melanie must then contemplate the meaning of such a short life, and why such horrible things are allowed to happen. Everything moved very quickly and it felt like we went from the main characters meeting to talking marriage and babies in about 20 minutes. Anyways, the author, she does a tremendous job describing the sadness and sorrow that the main character feels for Doug. Starry, starry night.

I didn't hate it but I didn't have any real feelings about it. Brenda struggles between noble intentions and real desires when she becomes the last chance for happiness for a dying boy in "Last Dance." I have read a few of her books before so I was really interested in this book about the holidays. Three stories about Christmas and about teenagers learning a very valuable lesson about how to love and accept others as they come: it's hard to get better than that as it seems many teenagers don't realize the importance of these lessons or receive them until they are out of high school or well into life.

For me it was a little too cheesy, the family and characters were perfect, not very believable. This book was one **MASSIVE** eye roll.

Okay, so, I'm not a Macomber fan; I've never read anything of hers, at least not that I can recall, so I'm not really sure how this novel compares to any other of her works. Welcome back. However, this book didn't hit the spot for me. This book was well worthRead when I was eleven and much less cynical, so I figured I should rate it more in line with what I thought of it at the time.

McDaniel does a great job engaging her readers with her heartfelt stories. October 10th 2000 I could see this appealing to middle school age girls. I've read this book more times than I can remember, and each of the short stories is a nice little dose of Christmas spirit.I found these three stories, although not read during the holidays, sweet and touching. — "I read "Christmas Child" in this collection of stories. Like all romances this story runs along the prescribed scenario – man and woman meet, they overcome obstacles, and live happily ever after. 0553571060

It was too sweet, too cheesy, just a little too much of everything I wanted. To the point that I may have written some fanfiction that may still be in my mother’s attic.
