Although they are a subsidiary, they’ve got … SAGEMCOM OPTUS ADSL2+ & NBN WIRELESS MODEM ROUTER [email protected] 3864.

I'll certainly have a look at Windows 10 Mail and when I feel Belong is crap. Then look into if dropouts are sync issues or whatever. So just recently one of my housemates decided to sign up for Belong NBN for Internet, and it's been non-stop giving me problems and headaches with constant disconnections, the router is absolute garbage, if you're within 5ft range of it you get a somewhat OK connection, but outside that range you cannot get access for more than a minute. I also like the calendar function. I am not very computer literate and populating apps is not anything I am familiar with or happy to try. Have you reported the problem to Belong and asked for a new modem?I'll try giving thanks a shot and see how that works out, but I don't have any high hopes for it.And I highly doubt any ISP in Australia is going to bother setting their modems up to man in the middle your DNS requests. The only word. I had been told a couple of years ago that Livemail is no longer supported by Microsoft/Windows 10 but I really like it and will keep plugging on with it until it stops. Thanks for marking this as the answer.official Hi @Dilshan89 . The router said there was little interference, but once I changed the channel it worked great.I did some further research into Belong and found they're overall pretty fucking shit and unreliable. Most routers have a small pinhole button on the back or bottom (shown in the picture). The DNS is hardcoded to the router and cannot be changed, and no like I said I can't just setup on my PC to use another DNS because it still forces me to use the shit DNS server, even if I set up DNS to be manual, it tacks it on to what I've already configured as a third DNS server.

This router isn't even using OpenDNS from what I've been as to see.

I need to change modem details in Livemail. I signed up Internet connection with Belong 10 days ago and then very soon submitted my cancellation, but to my disappointment, I STILL keep receiving Belong emails and SMS advising the date of the NBN installation etc, and I also received Belong's Wifi Modem and … (I don't even know). Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts You won't be able to get those at your local Officeworks so check staticice to see where to get it near you. Hi, I have just changed internet providers and have received and connected a new modem.

If you could even see what the interface looks like you would know.If you can ping another DNS service you can use itFor your issues i would keep hounding their customer service line and keeping notes. Their supplied modem is garbage and very limited access of features in its Web UI, I'm pretty certain the main issue with the connection dropouts is not just the line of the router itself is the fact their own DNS server is hard coded into the device, so you can't even change it to an alternative DNS server, which is the most dumbest thing ever… like who even hard codes a DNS IP into their networking device? And use a separate calendar? In the meantime, if anyone can provide instructions for what to do/change in Livemail, I would be grateful to hear from you. Received this modem as a replacement from Belong on their ADSL2+ plan, to replace the old Technicolor TG797n V3 modem. Welcome to the Community!

And while Telstra has done a lot to address these concerns in recent years, Belong has gone one step better by listening to the things we all liked – and didn’t like – about Australia’s biggest telco. Are there multiple wall outlets for the phone? It is a "Belong 4353" modem (http://10.0.0.138). And it worked flawlessly from the get go. Left Belong to sign up with Aussie Broadband NBN and it turned out that this modem has NBN capabilities! I did have to change be broadcast channel for the WiFi though. Having turned computer off and on again, Livemail reappeared, functioning normally, without me having to touch the modem/connection settings, although I found them for the new modem and got them ready 193630773475 After repeated calls over months and if you play your cards right, you should possibly be able to wrangle an exit based on failure to provide adequate services. If the supplied equipment is terrible raise it to complaints attempting to get a different model and get nowhere, then raise that to the TIO and get yourself out of the contract for failing to provide a usable service. What model of modem do you have? Will try to access Hi, I'm also very disappointed with lack of direct customer service, no number provided , extremely frustrating!! The reason I like Livemail is having two email addresses in one place and I see you say, if I understood you correctly, Windows 10 may or may not be able to do that. So stupid, and its design by stupids. After that you'll want to switch to a better provider, and probably purchase your own router rather than relying on an ISP provided one. Also to answer your question, no, there are no line filters, and did all that crap of disconnecting and reconnecting one by one, and no replacing the router for a new one from Belong will not fix the issue, because even they do send out a new one, it's still going to have the same issues as the current one because of the hardcoded DNS.
